Mental Health Counseling

This service is for you, if you are:

  • Struggling with feelings of depression or anxiety?

  • Transitioning from the structured schedule of high school to new social programs, employment, or college?

  • Feeling isolated and want someone to talk to other than your family?

  • Grieving the death of a family member or a sibling leaving the home?

  • Having issues in a relationship or need help establishing a new one?

  • Just not feeling like/acting like yourself?

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (thoughts impact emotions and behavior), mindfulness practices (think deep breaths and meditation), positive psychology techniques (let’s focus on your strengths), psychoeducation (skills to try and why they might help), supportive counseling (I’m a really good listener. I’m here for YOU.), and video-modeling (actually SEEING things in action helps us learn).

Initial intake appointments cover the who, what, why, how, and where of counseling. This is a time to assess your needs and get to know you… and for you to get to know me.

Each appointment will be 45 minutes and will focus on topics and skills to meet your individualized therapy goals.

Mental Health Counseling is offered to individuals ages 16+. Younger teens may be considered for treatment. Please contact me directly.

Fees

Initial Intake: $145
Individual Counseling: $105
